I came got into the car after getting off the bus from school. My day had not been going very well, so naturally, I was grumpy. My dad was chatting with my siblings and they all had had a good day. All I wanted to do was leave. It was my best friend's birthday and it was raining. My dad was ridiculously happy and I wanted to get home quickly so that I could find out why.
'Com'on Dad! I want to get out of here!' I whined.
'Okay fine.' He replied.
We left, and when we got home our friends were there. I walked in and an adorable little puppy started to trot towards me.
' Is that your guys' new puppy?' I asked.
' No, ' They replied.' It's yours.'
My body was in shock. I had been wanting a puppy since I could remember!
' You liar! That cute little ball of fur couldn't possibly be ours!' All of my siblings and I said at once.
'No, really, that is your pup.' My dad said.
' Oh my gosh!!!'
We were all so excited!
Josephine, (also known as Jo, Jo Jo, BabyGirl, and Sweetheart) is a blond labradoodle. She makes my whole family happy and know, I got my #1 favorite Christmas present ever! (Besides Jesus of course). She is only ten weeks old, but already knows how to sit and stay. She also knows how to wait at the door until we wipe her paws to go in. I love her so much and can't wait to play with her and cuddle her for the rest of her life. My adventure has just begun! Anyone have any tips as to how to train her or socialize her?

You might check and see if there is a 4-H dog program in your area. You can learn all about your dog's needs and socialize and train your dog with other kids.

Petsmart has puppy training classes, she can get training and socialization there.
