Twelve year old Lauren Picard caught and landed her first rainbow trout, taken on a dry fly in the canyon section of the Yakima River. Not only did she catch the fish, she was piloting the nine foot pontoon boat on her own as well!

Great job! That looks like a nice stretch of river. Glad you're teaching her the love of dry flies. We need more like her.

Need more fly fisherman so you can have more river sections designated for fly fishing only??
