Pirates and marine terminals don't normally go hand-in-hand, but on the last Saturday of August, you will find children dancing to the piratical tunes of Captain Bogg and Salty.
On August 25th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Port of Portland will transform Terminal 6 to host its third annual Seaport Celebration. With activities for all ages including guided tours of the marine terminal, face painting, a ship simulation room and more, it will be an event that everyone can enjoy! Food will be provided by the International Longshore Workers Union, while supplies last.
