We were contacted by letter from a man claiming we wone a $50,000 and we had to pay the taxes on it, they would send us the check for the amount of taxes. We recieved many calls regarding the check and that we needed to send the funds by westeran union. we had 14 days to respond or lose the chance at the money. I have emails, phone numbers, and voice messages, names and adresses. and not the check did not clear and we did not send them any either.

You know that you did the right thing because they would just kept your money and not send anything of that money, we need to stop that kind of people because they just want to get rich with our money.

You were mislead and you figured out this was a scam by suspecting the letter was fraud and required to send money to get money. I want to tell people about contractors scamming. People can go to Washington's or Oregon's licensing Bureaus online
