One Spring Day, 300 Trees Planted

Friends of Trees and its Neighborhood Trees Program planted 300 trees March 20 in the Portland neighborhoods of Cully, Madison South, Rose City Park and Roseway.

City Commissioner Dan Saltzman and planting sponsor Port of Portland joined 200 volunteers on the beautiful first day of spring.

This was the largest Neighborhood Trees planting of the season, but only one of four plantings that day for Friends of Trees.
