Gift Trees Planted in Collins Sanctuary

Over 70 people participated in the second Friends of Trees Gift Trees planting of the season March 28.

Friends of Trees provides Gift Trees in honor or memory and invites those who gave or received trees to the special planting, which takes place in the Metro-owned Collins Sanctuary adjacent to Forest Park.

On March 28, 470 trees and shrubs were planted on the restoration site.

Gift Trees plantings are housed within the Friends of Trees Green Space Initiative program because of the restoration work done to natural areas.
