Friday, 4/16/2010 was a great day on the river for me! We were fishing the Willamette River near Swan Island. I managed to land this 32" salmon. We had to estimate its weight as we had no working scale onboard - we think it was between 22-25 lbs! It was the biggest salmon I have ever caught.
I was very lucky to land her - she was only hooked in a little bit of skin on her cheek. Any more of a fight and I probably would have lost her. I had a great time!
