Oregon National Guard F-15 Eagles flyovers 4-21-2010

Zoom!

Just wanted to share a great shot I got yesterday (4-21-2010) when the Oregon National Guard F-15 Eagles flew over our place in the Tualatin/Sherwood area... at least six times... yes, they caught our attention! Ha! Time stamp on my camera for this image is 2:05 p.m.

Not too sure what they were doing as there is no official news report... but I understand many of our Soldiers made it home safely yesterday and I would like to say Welcome Home!

The F15 is still one of the prettiest lethal birds from the cold war era. Nice shot.

They grabbed my attention too! Sounded like I was going through a wind tunnel every time they flew over my home in Sherwood :)

My wife is in the Oregon ANG and we live out by the Airport. A few of those F-15's come and go at least once a day every day.

I am pleased to see these positive comments. As an "Eagle lover" but displaced to Arizona, I miss seeing and hearing the roar of the Oregon Redhawks overhead. They do us proud and keep us safe. Keep 'em flying, boys (and gals).

My wife was born in Portland, Oregon. Her idea of relation is to read a book on the sands of Rockaway Beach. As a child she would spend time with her grandparents in RockAway Beach.
