Hi Rhonda, I caught this Sturgeon on Thursday from the bank of the Columbia near Rooster Rock on 30lb. test using . Sand Shrimp and Squid.It put up a good fight, but the toughest thing was carrying it back the half mile over the half mile of rocky shore and through the heavy brush to the truck!

I suggest you smoke part of it. Smoked sturgeon is pretty tasty. A little greasy, depends on the brine and how it's dried. The largest sturgeon I caught was 33 inches and I had to throw it back 'cause it was too SMALL!!
