We were about 3-5 miles west of St. Helens on the Columbia river. We hit the water at 5am and were fishing at 7:30am. I caught my 9lb fish around 10:30am that day. At our spot we had 18 bites and 9 fish were caught. That night my family was treated to my fresh catch. Grilled on the barbecue was delicious.
