For Andrew's Birthday last year he received his first fishing pole and all the gear to go with it. 5/15 was the first time he got to use all his new gear. His auntie Anna and uncle Matao took him to Detroit lake to try fishing out for the first time. Unfortunately patience was not on his side and he didn't catch anything, but he did get to help uncle Matao real one in.

Attach a bell via a bent paper clip to the last ring of the fishing pole and rest it on a "Y" shaped stick stuck in the ground (or something similar). If he gets a nibble, pull the bell before reeling it in.It will allow him to wander and play a bit
