Car catches fire in easbound lane on I-84

At 2:00pm on Sunday, September 2nd. A grey car travelling eastbound caught on fire near mile post 64 on I-84 in Hood River. Multiple Hood River area fire units responded shutting down eastbound traffic for over 1/2 and hour while crews extingushed the flames and removed the vechile. Although no one appeared injured, substanital damage was doen to the car probably from a blown right front tire and catching flame.
