I was going to buy some bulk/pick & mix nuts at the Safeway on Powell & SE 39th, but this customer was in front of me. Decided I didn't want any after all. It's a great store and always looks clean--and I'm sure this happens at any store selling food--but it did take me by surprise and will make me far more cautious what I buy in the future.
Bold as you please, this mouse wants some bulk nuts!

I used to work for a store fixture company that did remodels on Fred Meyer stores...you don't even want to know how many mice are running through the grocery dept. We'd tear down the old fixtures and their would be DOZENS of dead mice under the shelv

That Safeway has a lot of problems, not just mice.
