Columbia River Gorge Wildflowers

Columbia River Gorge Wildflowers

Columbia River Gorge Wildflowers...... Now is the time to get out and view the more then 11 types of wildflowers that are curently in full bloom on on both sides of the Columbia River Gorge. The uncommonly wet spring in the pacific northwest might not have ended but those wet days are sure to be on the decline and warmer weather is sure to be here soon. Be sure to get out and enjoy the Columbia River Gorge this week while the wild flowers are in full bloom up and down both sides of the river. There are more viewing sights and better places to pull of for photography on the north side of the river both with it’s southern exposure and the slow winding road along Washington’s SR14. The rock cliffs are alive with at least 11 different types of wildflower currently in bloom and some of these come in 2 or more shades or colors.
If sight seeing be sure to use the slow vehicle pull outs for thru travelers.... they will thank you.
