The city park on Crooked Finger Road is the site of an abandoned flour mill from the 19th century that used water from Butte Creek for power. There is also a small waterfall at the site. This waterfall is Named McKay falls. The concrete barrier, that once diverted the water for the mill ,was broken through to allow the creek to flow down its natural path
